Topic: adjusting roast times for various types of extraction (3 msgs / 37 lines)

I was wondering what people do in adjusting roast times for various
extraction methods.
For instance if you like a bean roasted at full+ for drip what adjustments
do you generally make if you plan to use vacuum brewing, French press or
espresso extraction?

Cliff,
Great question.   The smaller the drink the darker the roast in my
case.  An Espresso will be darker than a Cafe Crema - a brewed pot will
be lighter than the Cafe Crema.   Some beans are roasted darker than
others - but the ration dark to size still exists for me.
