Topic: Two Bean Espresso? (3 msgs / 44 lines)

Are there any suggested or notable two bean blends for espresso? That is,
aside from some dark and some light of the same bean.

Carl,
I roasted up a batch of half Aged Sumatra Pwani Madheling and half Ugandan
Bugisu to a full-city (just into the 2nd crack) last Thursday for some
pleasureable espresso on Sat. My usual morning routine is to brew a pot of
drip as I get ready for work, and take an insulated cup of that weeks fancy
with me. (I just roasted some Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and some Costa Rican
that Thom is out of for this weeks pleasure.) I usually roast on Tue and
Sat. for the week and roast two different coffees for variety. Sometimes I
blend them. Back to your subject. The ASPM and UB made a great cup of
Espresso. It had a lot of crema. My wife puts frothed milk in hers, and I
like mine straight. It is a mix I will do again!

Thanks for all of the two bean blend espresso suggestions. I am sure that
they will keep me busy for awhile.
