1) From: Susan Oppenheim
thanks craig and Charlie for responding
it's good for the list to know about mailings
Craig- they could have always returned it to sender- my address was clearly written and I paid about 7$ for each tiny bubble envelope- rather than
destroy it
i would have used the coffee myself quite happily
and Charlie- I don't have a car so getting to a border is impossible
i live 2 hours from the peace bridge in Toronto
you are luckier than I
cheers
Susan oppenheim
ps- if I do get that Ish back I will keep you all informed
a "border" is just an excuse by authorities for claiming to contain security
75% of Canada lives within 2 hours of the border
many go back and forth daily for home or work
we will have a shuttle ferry here in a matter of weeks between Rochester and Toronto -4 times a day-over 3000 people and cars to be accommodated
I think the postal thing is out of whack

2) From: Craig Andrews
Susan, You're quite right. On the Canada Post pdf., they say there that
they will "return to sender". I forgot about this when I posted the pdf.
link. I go adross the border @ Queenston/Lewiston & it's 90 minutes from
north Etobicoke (Rexdale) where I live to the border crossing.
That shuttle ferry will be awesome! {:-D
Cheers!
Craig Andrews.
