Pretty much "all of the above," Bill.  
I suppose the weakest point is the Saeco grinder, which is two notches
below the one that Tom sells.  Having a weak grinder leads to the fact
that if you can get the SM5K to take as long as 10s to pull a shot,
you've accomplished quite a feat.
So if your idea of espresso is 1.5- to 2.0- oz of extract in 25- to 30-
seconds, you will not get it with a Solis auto.
I haven't worked my way through the whole "Another SuperAuto Question"
thread, yet, but I did see JA's response (likes the SM5K espresso), and
my only comment on that is that John's "espresso" is a 3-oz shot, which
doesn't quite meet the criteria for espresso, in my book. I do, however
love the 3-oz product, I just call it a short Café Crèma.  :-)
