You know, this happens with cooking as well as roasting. You throw
together something in a hurry and it turns out wonderfully - and you
have no idea what went into it so you can do it again. I had small
quantities of several Centrals that alone wouldn't make up a HotTop load
- so I bagged them together and finally roasted it. My first thought -
take some of this to the PNWG2 for the cupping contest :o)) My second
thought was "ratz - this is good and I'm not sure what portions of what
went into it"
The moral to this story is - log the contents of the mongrel jar!

I have a different type of mongrel blend that keeps changing. A vac sealed
jar in the freezer that gets end of roast batches tossed in as they approach
a week or so. Usually less than an ounce but sometimes more, sometimes only
a few grams. Not enough left to grind for a last shot? Instead of tossing it
mix it in! I've been using it for the first of the weekday morning
convenience mini eVac pots once in a while lately. It was pretty darn good
this morning whatever the current combination was! I know for sure (I think)
it had Sumatra 4365, Panama La Berlina, a gram or two of ISH, some of a
couple different Kona, a bit of JBM, a touch of CR Miel, some Mexican
Altura, maybe some Aussie Skybury, I believe some Mattari still in the
mix...
