My disease is that of buying green beans, when i already have more than i need, or can use in a timely fashion.
Now Tom says he's going to put the brazil auction lots up soon and also another uganda. My disease will force me to buy them.
jason - there are far worse diseases luckily!

Funny you should mention this. I wrote to Les Aljberg about this very topic.
Here is a copy.

There has to be medical name that adequately describes a deadly disease
which seems rampant among the members of this forum.
Symptoms include;
Large circles under the eyes from lack of sleep
One of the hands and arms is much more developed than the other and is often
"thor" (correct spelling)?
maybe we could call it "tampus incorrectus"
Running off at the mouth
Poverty stricken
Blackened complexion from roast smoke
Coffee breath
Constantly in motion. Some might call it "hyper"
Must be some kind of word ending in "osis" or "heimers"
that describes this deadly disease

hehe, that sounds about right, although i don't drink a LOT (usually 1 or 2 doubles a day and maybe a cup of vac pot), but i do have lot of greens. Although not a lot compared to some people!

Common disease, see CSA 12 Steps... MM;-)

I describe my ailment as cryptoverdeism... the disease of buying green
coffee and hiding them from my wife.

Jason... You've come to the right place! The first step is admitting that
you have a problem. As a Certified Coffee Therapist, my recommendation is
that you give in to your urges, and continue to buy all the green coffee you
want. But, its not a good idea to keep this coffee... I would suggest that
you send half of what you buy to a professional (ummm... Me!). This will
allow to you keep your disease in check without filling your entire house
with green coffee beans!

on days where I "cup" espresso, the disease is in full effect.
That's todays theme... BTW, Uganda cup quality is UP from last year -
this is an especially nice lot, a non-Organic (the Org. lots cupped a
bit flat).
