Thank God for America, Sweet Marias ( and REAL rock music!) I dont know =
if there are any other Brits among you. If so, you can share my =
frustration in being unable to obtain decent advice, decent beans or =
even a basic level of knowledge from British coffee companies. With very =
few exceptions, the ignorance is cosmic!! try these for size!.....All =
yemeni coffee is the same..it just has different names....Yauco =
selecto...never heard of it....We don't sell green beans, we want the =
customer to experience the coffee at its best...roasted by professional =
roasters!!!!! See what I mean. Tom and Maria..thanks again..you rock!!!

Depending on where in the UK you live, there are definitely a few places
that are starting to do their part. On my last trip over the pond I
discovered The Tea and Coffee Plant in Notting Hill, which at least has
some freshly roasted coffee, some true specialty coffees, and will sell
you green beans! Who knew.
You might do some browsing of the forums on coffeegeek as well. There
is more discussion of British coffee there than on this list.
cheers
peter
