I doubt he was trying to tick people off.  Most likely "Steve" was
created specifically as a venue for someone to post his complaints about
the list.  I don't think it was really an "introduction," just a way to

why should they. I see no reason why I cannot post in what ever manner I wish, whatever is comfortable for me, how I may have learned to use the net. When the intetnet police come to my door I will most likely ask to see their badge and proof that the internet really exists!
A right way or a wrong way does not live in my world. 
I am thrilled each day I get new people onto and involved in/with the net since a world opens  for them.
If you want a tiny, do it this way net,
