Rick,
The Night Train replaced the Bad Boy . . . the Bad Boy is 1340cc soft
tail with a springer front end.
IMO there is nothing better than riding cross country on a motorcycle .
. . fresh air, all the smells, etc.

Do you think you could convince my wife? I had to sell my bike because
she wouldn't ride, and resented it if I went riding by myself.
Boy I sure do miss my GoldWing,
Ben

Yep, miss my Wings too. Among many other bikes, I had three starting with
the 1000 cc.. Commuted for seven years on one to San Francisco from
Woodside. After 45 years of riding the old legs are just not dependable
enough to hold em up any longer. Don't let anyone tell you about the "golden
years" What beautiful memories, however.

Alfred,

They are not the "golden years," but the metallic age! It is silver in the hair, gold in the teeth, and lead in the butt! :>) Concerning your double shots. I would go the 25 - 30 seconds and stop. The time is more important than the volume. Crema is somewhat like fizz in pop. It will settle out into brew after a bit. With you dialed in, the perfect shot should be measured in time rather than volume.

When I'm pulling my usual double shot I stop at 30 seconds, 1.5 ounces, or light
color, whichever comes first. Seems to work well for me. Dan
