Welcome back firstly. I have been thrown into a disagreement with a fellow about MC decaf. I mentioned that you (not specifically) had run a trace analysis on greens. He states that due to the low evaporation temperature, it is "chemically impossible" for any MC to end up in your coffee cup. I am assuming you have not run a trace on the roasted beans due to your recent tragedy. Was wondering if you planned on doing it in the future? Thanks
Steve

I tend to agree with him, BUT virtually nothing is chemically impossible,
especially in a matrix. Chemically improbable yes, impossible no. It is
amazing how solvents bind in a matrix. That said, I am out of that
particular decaf sample. If you or someone else wishes to send me another
green sample, I will run it unroasted (for a baseline) and as a cup.
