I roast for Café Crèmas more like I roast for press-pot, rather than =
for
espresso.  
There is a theory going around that there is some grand confluence of
factors that just coincidentally make the SM5K put out a great Café
Crèma.  These factors include the fact that the SM5K brews at a much
lower temperature than a typical espresso machine, and also that the
pull-time on the Solis is generally in the 10- to 15- second range, vs
25- to 30- seconds.
I expect that's why it doesn't do so well with the typical espresso
roast.
So anyway, I use regular drip/press varietels and roasting profiles, and
rarely disappoint myself. :-)
