Topic: Time for a variac - Recommondation? (4 msgs / 70 lines)
1) From: Ken Merrell
Hello,
I have been roasting in Wisconsin all winter inside my garage and have been
able to control my roast by putting my WBP1 in a box. With the temp
outside being very cold I cannot get to second crack without recycling the
heat back into the box. The nice thing in this weather is that I can
control the temp of the air going back into the WBP1 thus stretching out
the roasting time.
Winter is over, I lost my control. I need a Variac.
What is recommended by those of you using them?
Thanks,
Ken Merrell

I just bought the one on the SM website. Best price I could find for one
with those specs, eBay included.

Thanks, I didn't know they carried them. It gave me the information I was
looking for too.

Ken:
Tom sells one that more than what you need and at a great price. I would
stick with the known if I were you.
