Topic: need grinder advice please (2 msgs / 28 lines)
1) From: Sue Stevenson
Hi, I finally made it back into town and on my computer - over a thousand messages from the list. I'll never catch up! I've been reading some over the last week, but.........WOW!
When I was in Toledo I saw an old friend, he has a Nuova Simonelli coffee grinder in storage that he would be willing to trade me for a Blizzard machine that I have (I could probably get a couple hundred for it on e-bay, maybe). I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this grinder? Would it be suitable for home use? How does this compare to other equipment? Should I try to hold out until I can afford something else, like a MM?
I looked on the web site, but of course they are there to sell their grinders! I'm looking for the invaluable advice of all the pro's on this list! Sue

NS makes (or more accurately rebadges) several grinders, many of
which have good reputations. From the web site, which one does she
have? I use a Grinta, but I only like it having made several
modifications. Some of the others have quite good reputations.
Best,
