Topic: Uganda exports double (2 msgs / 52 lines)

How much Uganda are we buying?
APRIL'S coffee export earnings nearly doubled, jumping to 82.8%
fetching $8.77m compared to $4.8m at the same time last year.

This was due to increasing world prices and export volumes, the
Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) has said in a monthly
        report.

And what are we paying for it?
In April, the average price of a kilo of Ugandan coffee was
$0.82 or 26% higher than the $0.65 cost in April 2003.

And Forbes has an article Peruvian coffee quality.

 I just ordered a 150 lb sack. It's great this year! Tom's
always right, of course, but I liked the organic Bugisu a lot
better than the conventional sample I tried along side.

The specialty Ugandan arabica is more than specialty Mexican,
less than Yemen-around primo Guatemalan price.
