Decaf can be a good thing... I found after discovering how good coffee can be that I missed how good a full night's sleep is too... home roasted decaf allows me to enjoy both with decaf for my second pot of the day. At least it did until my Gourmet (no longer working) decided to roast itself...... Currently drinking some Seattle's something or other I bought in an airport (wed) for my AM fix and waiting for a care package from SM that's in the back of a truck somewhere hundreds of miles away. Life is too short to drink pre-roasted coffee that just ain't right, wrong in so many ways. JR
I am sooo sorry! I got in this funk where I didn't roast (didn't do much). I just drank preroast and almost quit coffee. It's funny how you can almost get used to the crap, and then you taste that last 6 oz. of Harrar that you had in the cupboard and just roasted because it was there. Oh, boy!
That's the frustrating thing about package tracking, isn't it - when you = can see that it is so near yet so far. . . (especially on weekends!!!) Now that you've had to endure the junk, just think of how much more = you're going to enjoy your package when it DOES arrive! Jean :~)
How do you spell relief....C O F F E E. It's been almost two weeks since my gourmet (no longer working) decided to roast itself. Since the big brown truck with my replacement roster was last spotted in Texas several states and 2 days away according to the WWW. I dusted off my old hot air popcorn popper that I actually used for popcorn and tried my hand at some low tech roasting. I just finished drinking some decaf, my first in almost 2 weeks. Very drinkable after only a few hours rest. I was trying to avoid having to develop a new stop gap roasting capability but I just can't drink another pot of that mass roasted poop they sell as coffee. Looking forward to some real coffee in the AM too... really looking forward to getting back to full functionality, capability, coffeeability. Life is too short to drink bad coffee.. JR
