I am getting trmendous coffee brews in my new-to-me Cory Dripolater Vacuum Pot... Still, it's old, and the rubber gasket/seal will need to be replaced soon. I am asking the list - do you know of a supplier, online, or otherwise, who provides these? Thanks, Brett Mason

Apparently there is a still-in-production metal vacuum brewer whose gaskets fit the old corys (if yours was a wide mouth). I have been told -- but have not been able to confirm -- that restaurant supply houses that supply chinese restaurants are a source. If anyone knows of a particular supply house that carries them that would be great. Wish I knew more, Edward
An alternative I took was to buy a Bodin Santos pot and use the Cory rod in it. Works great.
I have also heard of using o-rings, but I have never tried this.
Have a look at http://www.foodservicedirect.com/index.cfm/S/176/N/1368/Vacuum_Coffee_Makers.htmUnfortuantely the gasket is 'out of stock' Dave <Snip>
