Les has updated his News and Notes page on www.thortamper.com again. So, why am I telling everyone, you're asking? Because his latest custom creation is at the top of the page, and it's mine, mine, mine... (Absolutely gorgeous work, Les!) Now I have to get an espresso machine, so I have a need for a sample of his work from his real job. Mark C.
Mark, That is beautiful! I pondered keeping a vinyl player from my dad's estate this summer, but passed. But I do have a piece of Les' work at home, and it's also pictured on the Gallery of Tampers page http://thortamper.com/pageeight.html). Near the bottom on the left - a Black Walnut tamper with a 1941 Walking Liberty inset. Great work Les! Jason <Snip>
Les, your tampers are truly works of art. Very nice! I like the old coins, that's a nice touch. On Tue, 2 Nov 2004 15:14:18 -0500 (EST), Jason Brooks wrote: <Snip>
