OK - the ONLY thing I don't love about the Elektra are the Bakalite
handles. So I need an offlist with Mr. Les about Thor Tampers and
John - going broke quickly now

I would love to make your new handle! I have a customer in Penn who
had me turn a new finial for the top too she didn't like the eagle!
Next she is getting a matching tamper and handle. I have done a
number of these! Contact me off list!

I don't know. I sent it back after getting some measurements.

They make a beautiful glass dome for the Elektra - but I have never
seen a place that offered a choice. I like the eagle and have a
couple of others in the house already.
I'll do a full sized brag when I place my order... sometime soon I hope.

I wanted to get handles but I can't seem to remove the current handles -
feels like they Crazy-Glued them or sumthin' :-(

Sometimes they are really tough to get off. The threads are on the
handle, so make sure you are turning the right way.
