Looks interesting.  It brings up a good point - how do you measure the
water temperature of a drip coffee maker?  Do you measure the water in
the pot and assume the water is X degrees higher than that? Or do you
try to get a thermometer in the water coming into the basket?

Then there are some that claim to be generic or re-brands of these pots. 
My overall experience with generics is that about 50% of the time you 
get a deal.
