Topic: new coffee's (2 msgs / 42 lines)

I sure hope that I am not posting in HMTL! I simply hit the delete to clean
the slate and then reply!! It has happened again! I just ordered 15 pounds
of good stuff, when Tom posted two coffee's that I have been chomping at the
bit to try. I have wanted to get some Costa Rican La Minta and some of the
Maui Kaanapali Moka. I am sure that I will order, but I have a lot of
coffee right now. Does anyone have a general schedule of when the various
coffee's come around? I am not complaining. However, I have put together a
20 week roasting schedule for myself and I don't know how I could fit
another coffee in. As the nature of this forum is to share roasts, I would
like to say, I really have fallen for roasting 2 batches of Uganda Bugisu
and mixing in one batch of Mexican Esmarilda Decaf. It makes a nice smooth
coffee. I would also like to respond to a couple of other posts with some
thoughts. I was desperate for filters for my Yama, so I called Hario, and
they sent me some really nice filters that work well on the Yama. I really
don't think Tom would want us to stop buy coffee because we didn't have the
filters to brew with! The Hario filters also work well in my Sunbeam. I
used to swig coffee all day as was mentioned on the posts. I now enjoy a
cup of coffee (Large cup) in the morning, and I often will enjoy another cup
in the afternoon or evening. I have also learned that most people don't
like my coffee. They think that it is too strong! They just don't know
what full flavor is! Well tomorrow AM I will be enjoying a cup of 1/3
Ethiopian Harar Horse and 2/3 Indian Monsooned Malabar. This I roast full
city. It is nice an shiny! Tuesday, I will be enjoying some what I roasted
today, Costa Rican Tres Rios. I am almost out of CRTR. I am out of IMM,
and only have enough Horse left to make a Moka Java with some Sumatra
Mandheling. However, I have about 20 varieties now. Too many! Any
suggestions on making up a well rounded coffee "closet" or is that "cellar"?
