Topic: Oaxaca Charlie's RK drum setup (4 msgs / 88 lines)

Do you have pics or more descriptions for your bread-oven roasting
setup. I've been going thru the archives just to be sure I didn't miss
anything, but there are soooo many posts... But I'm interested in
building something similar here, so any pointers would be helpful.
Thanks,
Mike

Ed Needham's homeroaster.com site has some pics of my earliest
setup. Both the oven and the roasting gear have been upgraded
since then, and now that I have a digital camera I'll try and
get some new pics to Ed soon., then he'll have to find some
spare time to add them. Now that I think of it..duh...I can send
you some images, if you have a high speed connection. I don't,
so it takes about 20 minutes per photo to send. Write me direct,
Mike.

I added the one picture you sent me a while back, so it is 'sort of'
updated. Maybe you've made some changes since?

The oven hasn't changed, but the motorized roller unit has just
been streamlined (much better),and the cooling table is being
changed to hold a large ss screen, with the super-fan
underneath. The palm frond mats work great, but need replacing
every couple of months, and I lose some beans (flying away in
the stiff breeze). Thanks, Ed.
