Just saw this:http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2004-12-19-self-heat_x.htm?cspI can only imagine that what's in there is only coffee in name. Okay you
Senseo modders - hack that puppy! :)
Cheers,
Mike

"It sounds like a technology used by soldiers to heat Meals-Ready-To-Eat.
But MREs mix magnesium iron oxide and water and need several steps. This is
one-step and self-contained."
end snip...
The MRE heater is one step & self contained. Just add water. Ftr, has anyone
seen those hand warmers for hunters - it's a clear bag of clear liquid - you
just bend the metal gadget inside and the clear liquid crystallizes and gets
*really* hot? When the heats gone you boil the whole thing for 10 minutes
and it's ready to go again. I wonder if this is similar technology... -

I'm amused by all the speak about this stuff.
I got trials of it a few years ago at the outdoor expo in salt lake
city... yeah, the one that was hit by a freak tornado.
The ones they had, you just pulled a string and it heated up.
A certain person left the trade show with his backpack full of my
freebies, so I never got to try em. Probably not the best, but when
you've been hiking all day everything tastes great.
