Not as many people showed up as expected, and the 3 gallons each of decaf and Yemen Mocha were brewed in the church percolator. They both were well liked by all who tried them, and I received many compliments. To me they tasted, wellllll... perked. My Mazzer Mini came along to do the grinding, and I thought it was taking way to long to grind all that coffee, almost a hopper full of each, so I increased the coarseness. Well things went faster, and when I got home I didn't change it for my morning brew. Coffee still tastes great, but now the grinds do not get all over the underside of the drip head. Guess you can grind too fine for the water to flow well enough. And the coffee is brewing faster now also. I had had it set for my french press, so that there was some pressure when I pushed the plunger down. All the best, PeterZ Warm and sunny (74F) today, here in LHC.
