Topic: my best cup ever (3 msgs / 62 lines)

Hi all.
For valentine's day my wife got me a Zass knee mill
grinder to replace my capresso burr grinder. It
arrived yesterday, and I used it this morning for the
first time. I ground up some decaf Guatemala
Huehuetenango that I roasted on monday. After
grinding I was impressed at how much more uniform the
grounds were compared to the capresso...and how much
more 'alive' the coffee tasted. I don't think I taste
all the nuances that Tom mentions in his cup review,
but there was none of the bitterness that was
omnipresent with the capresso. I hoped the grinder
would make a noticable difference in my coffee, but
never expected to be so pleasantly suprised.

French,
Bitterness = Overextraction! Now you have control over one more
element of the process!
