I read most of this a couple of years ago.  I actually really enjoyed
the writing style, although I never did manage to finish the book.  I
have a bad habit of not finishing books.  Maybe time to give this one
another shot. (ooh, that might be a pun if I did espresso!  Except I
don't.)   I went through a huge coffee book reading phase in the fall
of 2003.  I can't remember the name of the large trade paperback that
was incredibly crammed with cool info....  Will have to go look for
the book and get back to the list.
