The Elektra's heater resigned this morning.   Its in the box and headed 
back.  I hope this is one of those extreme rarities and not an 
indication of my future with the machine.
And... I got over zealous and let my son take permanent possession of 
the LP - so I'm down to the SM5K, Cona-D, Press pot, Ibrek and Chemex 
until I get the Elektra back.
Life is still good - just not AS good.
