Okay, here is an update.
It did not take long to make an adapter out of a shot piece of maple.
Just drill a hole the size of the Tater Twister shaft in one end (Q -
drill) and cut a slot across it for the pin in the shaft (Dremel).
Next drill a hole in the other end of the dowel so the Zass nut fits in.
Screw/glue a short piece of wood tangential to this hole to ride the
handle and push it around.
Pretty simple.
In practice, one end of the dowel (2 inch diam.) needs to be permanently
attached or it is too unsteady.
Glue it to the motor of your choice.
Probably NOT the tater twister motor, because that makes the grinder
turn BACKWARDS.
Does anyone have an idea how to make the motor turn the other way? I
tried spinning it the way I want it to go and then turning it on. It
went the other way.. backwards.
Oh well, I can still crank it :)
..... Maybe a juicer motor will work......they are geared, and run in
both directions I think....

Looking for a small torquey motor that spins the other way, here in LHC
