Yup, that's exactly what Tom used at PNWGII last year. I have four 12oz 
press pots purchased primarily for coffee comparisons. Even got lucky and 
have the Swiss Gold fine mesh plungers for them!

Nothing else is as good for coffee that's just out of the
roaster. I usually do at least 4 or 5 roasts a
day(sometimes 10 or more), after waking up with a few
strong mugs,and espresso shots from time to time untill
late evening, so I try not to swallow every cupfull from
the cuppings, but -it's too good to spit out.
