Peter:
Ture was do get ourselves carried away at times. For the MOST part this list is coffee.
I am still not clear on how anyone can belong to anything without all sorts of stuff showing up in the conversation.
Because that is what we are having, a conversation!
Did you need to announce your departure? The core of this list will not change because you are leaving. Stay around and you will learn tons of shuff about roasting, drinking and ?
Be careful not to let the door hit you in the butt on the way out.
cheers,
ginny

Sorry but I'm dropping off this list as the ratio of coffee discussion
to off topic is ridiculous.
A lot of you people need to find other places to discuss non coffee
topics rather than flooding this list with chaff.
Cheers

Wow - that's sad. When we sit down with a great cup of coffee we are
bound to silence? Yes we get far afield now and then. We argue about
stuff now and then. But one of the way friendships are bonded is by
exchange of thoughts. I'm probably one of the larger offenders - but then when anyone
asks a serious question they get serious answers.

I'm trying to think of that expression that has something to do with,
"...and the white horse you rode in on". Ginny would know it...
I do, however, think it was very clever how you kept this on-topic with the
"chaff" reference.....We're gonna miss you...(i!)

Angelo,
My thought's exactly!
Ever notice that the people that lurk, & don't filter the list ( ie
get it in digest only form) usually have the most problems with the
'non-coffee' discussions ?
Anyway, I roasted up a pound of Les's Mare blend last night 50/50
Sumatra/Harar, and after the little sample of it that I made last
monday, I really liked it! Of course, I had a lot of chaff flying all
over the place, but the coffee was still very good! (-;

It always seems the ones who complain the most of noise are also ones who
contribute the least. If you'd get up off your quill and plot some thoughts
you might be able to embrace the strange little society.
