Hi Fred, replying cc list.
Great to here you'll most likely be able to make it. Details wise I just got
confirmation of the Stumptown agenda okie dokie back from Jodi today and
haven't posted to the List yet or had time to toss up a URL. We're scheduled
to arrive at Stumptown's main Roastery noon Saturday June 18th. Since
parking will be sparce best to meet at my place and car pool over if
possible, leaving 11:30. My home will remain open for those who can't or
don't wish to make the Stumptown tour. We'll tour the place and then spend
some time getting edumacated and playing in the on premises cupping room.
Two hours or so planned for there. Then down the road a dozen blocks to
Stumptown's original Cafe, the one with the Probat looking you in the eye as
you walk in the door! And a second smaller Probat (their first) off to the
side. Here we'll be able to see some of their Baristi in action and sample
some very fine shots. "Coffee" also available. An hour or so there then
depart 3 or 4pm-ish for my house 20min away for more coffee play, various
munchies and later true low & slow Q feast, more coffee play etc. I'll get a
URL with addy's and the details up soon, hopefully by this weekend.
Demi-mug wise first has anyone heard from Peter Barnes lately? Know if he's
ok?
Ok, 4 that had been ordered are still not paid for (two ordered by two
different people). One of the persons is still posts on the List and I even
sent their invoice to the List since they said on List they hadn't gotten it
(after it had been sent twice, now four times plus to the List for 5 times.)
But still not a word of payment intentions. Bottom line the 4 demi-mugs are
available as far as I'm concerned. Cost is $8 each plus $8.50 USPS Priority
shipping if you want them shipped MINUS $8 for your first mug, Tom
generously picked up the tab on it! So if wanting two and picking them up at
PNWGIII it'd be $8. If shipped $16.50. Snail mail addy

On another demi-mug note I ordered them online the evening of Wed 4/6. Prior
to ordering I checked with the supplier and was given an ETA of 3 weeks.
Like I posted previously their saying 3 weeks to me that meant to allow 5
weeks. Guess what, today was 5 weeks to the day following the order and they
arrived! Fascinating. I'll be taking them over to Crystal Visions Engraving
this weekend or first of the week latest.
The Third Annual Pacific Northwest Sweet Maria's Home Roaster's Gathering is
only 5 weeks and a day away!
