Topic: #2 coffee v. internet, new question (6 msgs / 125 lines)

After reading all of the responses to this query I realized I got what I asked for which are excuses for why anyone would have to make a choice.
I think the original question of choice begs another:
If you had to give up your morning coffee or the internet which would it be? The issue is of course if you are a regular Joe or Jane who uses the internet at work when in fact you should be working.
I find it interesting the this list is very busy Monday thru Friday during "work" hours, regardless of what coast we are on. Come the weekend the percentage of use drops by 75 percent. What does that tell you?
So new question.
Would you give up coffee or PERSONAL USE of the internet at work?

Umm I think my co workers would be able to answer this one too.
Personal use of the internet can go... I want my coffee sometime during
the day, preferrably in the morning. or at least before noon.
then again let me throw another wrench in the questioning, I can
'justify' just about any web browsing I may have to do, so im not
loafing around, it's RESEARCH you heathen!! :)
seriously though the web would have to go, surfing doesn 't wake me up
in the morning and make me feel good to be alive... coffee does.

While that either/or choice is highly unlikely, I would give up
personal use of the internet over morning coffee. Having recently had
and presently am enduring HD crash on office computer and awaiting a
new laptop to replace the 1999 Toshiba I have used since 1999, I can
say that "when the internet goeth away, the home-roaster coffee
meaneth a LOT more"!
