Topic: A humble recomendation - Zimbabwe Dandoni (2 msgs / 43 lines)

For new roasters who have not tried the Dandoni Estate
coffee from Zimbabwe. Try it, I think you we be very
impressed.
It is a very well behaved coffee, It roasts very
evenly with a nice long pause between first and
second. For someone just getting their legs it would
be a great start. it is very easy to target the
perfect full city roasts.
It hits me squarely on the tongue, excellent balance
with some little exciting tastes. Reminds me of a good
bloody mary in a way, complex but no overpowering
flavor sticking out.
Every so often I get depressed about the tight budget
keeping me out of the Geisha, Kona, and espresso in
general. Then I find a <$5.00 coffee like this that
gets me excited about roasting again.

I'd just like to second Steve's recommendation for the Zimbabwe Dandoni.
I thoroughly enjoyed it too and I'd agree with his assessment that while nothing is
overpowering, there's more than enough to keep your taste buds interested.
