Subject: +Source for triple basket...
Assuming that it would even work with my machine (Gaggia Espresso), where
would one get a triple basket? I'd love my lattes to be a little stronger
without reducing the overall drink size and without having to do more than
one shot...

Thanks! Is a crotchless portafilter required to fit a triple basket? That's
the part I really meant to ask on the list...

Hi Mike,

About that off list stuff.. … …. and you were doing sooo good.
I was bad. Being one of the few who wasn’t satisfied with my =
Technivorm a
long while back, today I received my new Kitchenaid ProLine brewer. =
Sixteen
pounds!!!! So far I have only run scrap grounds and tap water through it =
to
get it seasoned but the test looked pretty good. The grounds were well
saturated with water (my main beef with the TV), and the brew cycle is =
about
7 minutes. Brewing didn’t start right away and the last minute is just =
the
basket emptying so the actual brewing is shorter than 7 minutes. The =
coffee
temperature in the carafe was 191°F, so I suspect the brew temperature =
was
somewhat higher.

Tomorrow morning will be the test. I have some wonderful Tanzanian =
flatbean
from SM with three days rest. That is a nice, rich coffee to test out =
the
new brewer.
