I roasted some of SM's India Monsooned Malabar and Sulawesi Toraja Grade 1 Friday night (50/50 ratio, mixed post roast), and it turned out darker than I like (learning a new roaster). I just made coffee in the Technivorm (ground in the Zassenhaus) for a little afternoon pick-me-up at work, and all I can say is, WOW. This turned out much better than I expected.
I've never tried these two mixed before, but Tom said it was one of his favorites so I gave it a try. Am I glad I did.

fabulous coffees. I have discovered that the coffee I make a mistake on and roast darker are some of the best I have ever had.
I will always remember the Horse, roasted darker the usual, left on the sink in a mason jar for 10 days and it was the best Horse I have ever had.
