I'm not there yet. Just read an article by Malachi on HB that is IMO
excellent food for thought and excellent advice. Wish I'd read something
like that 4 years ago! While I've done a lot of what he talks about, I
missed or shortcut a number of steps that could have shortened my learning
curve of getting were I am today. And now will allow me to grow further
faster.http://home-barista.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t6miKe mcKoffee
URL to Rosto mods, FrankenFormer, some recipes etc:http://mdmint.home.comcast.net/coffee/Rosto_mod.htmUltimately the quest for Koffee Nirvana is a solitary path. To know I must
first not know. And in knowing know I know not. Each Personal enlightenment
found exploring the many divergent foot steps of Those who have gone before.

I'll second that! Malachi is a great resource for us coffeegeeks and wannabe
baristas. He forces you to think about what you are doing, question it, and
push past the simple rules towards better understanding. He deconstructs the
question and shows you possibilities you didn't even know existed.
