Barry, Silvia residence LAW stipulates you must keep her for at least a year
before finding her a new home;-)

Think I might convert and become a Muslim Then I can have 3 wives, Lois,
Silvia and yet to be named. Oh, on another note: when I was in Portland I
fell in love with Stumptowns Hairbender. My daughter sent me some for the
holidays. Since I was in Portland last I have started roasting Tom's Monkey
Blend. You know Tom's is better than Stumptowns.

Barry,
I'll have to agree with you. Sometimes when I don't keep up with my
roasting schedule and run out - I'll buy a couple of pounds of
Hairbender. It is definately a quality blend and IMHO tops any
commercially available roasted espresso blend (the ones I've tasted).
And then..... I'll roast some Monkey - - Oh My - - - and say to myself
"this is what it is all about".
Stumptown is still far and away the best "espresso shop" I've ever
visited for a shot or two. Looking forward to your next visit.

Me too first shot at Stumptown and what ever watering hole you choose is on
me. McKoffee and Les are invited also. Same offer applies. Will be there in
June for a meeting and then probably the end of August. My daughter in
Portland is expecting the end of Aug.

I roast espresso every 3-4 days. If I miscalculated and will run out
before the new batch has rested, I buy a half pound of roasted
Metropolis Red Line or Intelligentsia Black Cat or Kid O. By the time
I use the pre-roasted espresso up, my homeroast has rested.
