Hi guys.
I'm behind. My kid got sick, then I got sick, and wife is sick too.
I'll get everything organized monday or so.
Just wanted to update everyone.

Just take care of yourselves. Lots of fluids. If you have cough or
sinus, make sure you all have a vaporizer and breathe in that steam!
They only cost about $10 and are sometimes the difference between
sleeping and not sleeping. I use the Vicks brand vaporizer, but just
put in water and a pinch of salt, no Vick's vaporub needed.
If it is stomach flu, just make sure you get lots of fluids. If
vomiting, wait at least an hour before starting to drink again and
then just 1 oz every 15-20 minutes for at least an hour. BRAT diet
for diarrhea (sorry). Bananas, rice, applesauce and dry toast. Main
concern is dehydration, so gets some rehydration salts or gatoraid
type fluids. NO COFFEE!
And good handwashing all around!

well since he is not allowed to drink coffee... how about smelling it
while roasting it. Might serve two purposes, give him a bit of the
caffeine he isn't getting and clean the sinus' out. Ok it's a long shot
but hey, if we can come up with new excuses why we HAVE to roast (it's
for our health honey honestly!!) all the better.

No coffee? No way. Great in theory, but if I don't do my base load
of coffee when I am sick, the headache is worse than the sickness.
Do get better.

I have a suggestion which I probably should have thought of earlier, but if
it is not too late, you should try to find out the locations of the
participants and try to pair them up to someone nearby. That way it would
cut down on shipping time and cost and the participants could possibly get
together to compare. Maybe this could be done in round 2 if the first
exchange works out.

The way I can tell that I'm really SICK is that I don't want coffee - or at
least it tastes fairly unpleasant. I figure if I still *want* a cup of
coffee, I can't be all that sick.

Take care of yourself and your family, Will. This can surely wait
until you're all feeling well.

I'm discovering something similar. I'm just getting over a mild cold,
and during it, I have had no taste for the spicier, fruitier coffees
in my stash--no Yemen Hirazi, no Ethiopian Ghimbi. It all tasted
harsh and unpleasant to me. But what I liked was the dependable
Brazil F. I. Dulce. Sweet, mild, smooth, and substantial. The decaf I
am drinking at this moment works just as well.

"But where says some is the King of America? I'll tell you Friend, he
reigns above, and doth not make havoc of mankind like the Royal Brute
of Britain. Yet that we may not appear to be defective even in
earthly honors, let a day be solemnly set apart for proclaiming the
charter; let it be brought forth placed on the divine law, the word
of God; let a crown be placed thereon, by which the world may know,
that so far as we approve as monarchy, that in America THE LAW IS
KING. For as in absolute governments the King is law, so in free
countries the law ought to be King; and there ought to be no other.
But lest any ill use should afterwards arise, let the crown at the
conclusion of the ceremony be demolished, and scattered among the
people whose right it is."
