Had my first cup this morning, roasted in 12:30 plus 0:15 finish temp hold
FC, 3 day vac jar rest. Excellent classic funky full bodied spicy Sumatra,
but not dirty or musty at all. Highly recommended Sumatra. (Haven't pulled
straight shots yet, just 202F pulled double Lungo shot Americanos.) FWIW not
as sweet or syrupy as the Volkopi, also an excellent quite interesting
Sumatra.

I don't have either in my stash, Mike, but I've been
enjoying Sumatra Blue Batak. How do they compare to
Blue?

Great. Even after the terrible tsunami, it looks like it is going to
be the year of Sumatra in coffee. I see Tom says he just put up a
new aged one.

Lots of plants respond to stress by producing more and/or sweeter fruit. I
wonder if that plentiful Sumatras are the coffee plants' response to the
stress caused by the tsunami?
