Dear fellow coffee roasting scientists:
What is the water holding capacity of this brewer (The SwissGold One Cup
Coffee Brewer KF-300)???
Sincerely,

one cup...

Not surprisingly, its capacity is one cup! That is, I put it atop one
of my mugs that actually holds about 8 or 9 ounces, put ground beans
into the bottom Swiss gold container, pour water that has come off the
boil about one minute into the upper holder (don't pour it directly on
to the grounds - it floods the place), and as soon as it has dripped
through you have a nice hot cup of coffee. I've bought 2 from Tom,
because I usually run one in the dishwasher before needing a third (or
use my french press if I haven't). I always make sure the Swiss gold is
scupulously clean before using it. -- Jerry Green
