I am considering using my multimeter and temp probe with my zack & danni =
roaster. Has anyone done this or have any setup advice for me. ~Jim

Phil has done the most Z&D modding I know of. You might check out this

URL to Rosto mods, FrankenFormer, some recipes etc:http://mdmint.home.comcast.net/coffee/Rosto_mod.htmUltimately the quest for Koffee Nirvana is a solitary path. To know I must
first not know. And in knowing know I know not. Each Personal enlightenment
found exploring the many divergent foot steps of Those who have gone before.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Mike.
I have to add a comment to the thred which Mike referenced. The Z&D =
which I modified is the old model without the hinged lid. My guide tube =
through the lid wont work on the new models. Glen in the following =
string has modified a newer modle with the probe entering the bottom of =
the roast chamber:http://www.coffeegeek.com/forums/coffee/homeroast/132040He also has some thoughts on controlling the roast profile with a piece =
of cardboard to direct the hot exhaust air back to the inlet. I have =
tried his method and it does work. My method is electrical but the =
addition of his trick gives me even more power.
Someone named Stan is working on a guide probe approach thru the bottom =
of the roast chamber and I have a dead new model Z&D and a broken extra =
roast chamber to experment with. Time will tell who comes up with some =
pictures first.
Jim after checking the Coffee Geek threads mentioned, hopefully you may =
come up with your approach to the problem. Please do post pictures.
Phil
