Topic: New Espresso cups (3 msgs / 66 lines)

I got a set of the double walled Bodum espresso cups for Christmas. 
What a difference in temp retention on my espressos this AM.  I
preheated the cup with hot water and it really improved the taste of
the shots from start to finish.  I had some 6 day rested Aussie Mt.
Top,  Light Vienna Roast or just a bit past full city plus.  One of
the best S.O. shots I have ever had.  I highly recommend these cups.
One of the best improvements in my espresso journey.

I've had them for months. Really like them. They have cappuccino glasses too 
which are excellent. My wife loves them.

The cappuccino cups are my caloric undoing. Previously, I had been  
drinking trad breve cappas in Intelligentsia's 6.5 oz. tulip Black  
Cat cups; suddenly the extra couple of ounces and the chance to  
admire a Seattle-style cappa in all its symmetry increased my cappa  
consumption exponentially. I had a pair of the 11 oz. tumblers, but  
before they could totally wreck my diet they somehow shook themselves  
off the lid of Livia's reservoir and shattered. (I'd say my kitty  
knocked them off, but I saw it happen each time and the cats were  
nowhere in sight. Perhaps it was the ghost of Mishmosh, the  
doppelganger for Intelly's Black Cat logo, who passed away suddenly  
in Sept.).
