Les,
Are you wandering on the road again? State of Jefferson = VA, or som
eobscure reference I miss?

Sorry Jason. A long time ago there was a movement for Northern
California and Southern Oregon to break off and form the State of
Jefferson. Us rural folks are tired of being controlled by city
politics. I will be on the road again to Denver in March. I am
hoping to have my Presso dialed in so I can have a traveling espresso
machine for the trip. I wonder what the security guys will think of
the Presso when they see it on their X-Ray?

When I flew to Orlando on business with my Bodum Columbia in October,
Richmond TSA looked twice at my backpack - holding the aforementioned
Columbia, a Zass Knee mill, and a hot water kettle. They pulled it in
Orlando when I set for home. When the TSA gent opened it, he complemented
me on the smell of the coffee. They were looking for blades - the shape
of the Bodum made them think of an Osterizer.
As for politics, I know what you mean. That's actually a lot behind the
formation of my home state, WV. They were tired of bowing to the
aristocracy in the tidewater and piedmont. Ironically, I now live in the
Piedmont, but am definitely not among the Aristocracy!

And that's why I'd never make a successful terrorist...
I'd just feel stupid trying to force people to do my bidding with an
Osterizer blade.
Nope, nope...not even for a sure spot in paradise and hot-and-cold running
virgins.
