Topic: new book, fyi (5 msgs / 103 lines)
1) From: Tom & Maria - Sweet Maria's Coffee
Just as a point of interest ... we are stocking a new book that is
WAY WAY WAY over the top. Its probably even too arcane for the
majority of pro coffee roasters out there, but it is truly an amazing
book:
Coffee: Growing, Processing, Sustainable Production edited by Jean
Nicolas Wintgenshttp://www.sweetmarias.com/prod.book.poster.misc.shtmlI made a couple info pages and some snapshots of some interior pages.
A mere 975 pages, a mere $382! Get one for you and one for a friend!
(Just kidding ... actually you would be insane for buying this)
BTW: looks like there will be a interesting Brazil article in Fresh
Cup that uses my photos - looking forward to seeing how they look in
print. And I believe I will a judge at the Western Regional Barista
Competition which will be a new experience for me. Guatemala Q
Auction was cancelled - I was supposed to be a judge for that next
week ... now I hear they added a Guat CoE! There will be more new
arrivals posted to the site tomorrow - finishing up cupping reviews
today and last re-cup in the AM.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers
exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will
instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more
bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Nah! He's in the process of writting one that will be absolutely accurate as
well as filled with gourmet recipes. I'm keeping my money to buy that one.
