I roasted the last of my Mt. Top on Friday. I roasted it in two
batches. I took the first batch to a nice Full-City and the second
batch to a nice light city roast. I mixed the two today for a very
complex cup of KMB coffee. Yesterday I had had a pot of each and they
were good, however the sum of the two tasted much more complex than
the two seperate. This is the first time I have played with roasting
the same coffee to different roast levels and blending. Tomorrow I
think I will try a 75% Full-City with a 25% light City Roast for
espresso shots!

Les, I ran out of my austrailian mountain top long ago and am still
kicking myself to this day that I didn't order more of it when I had the
chance....
Then again, with a stash sitting well over 100 pounds, well, I don't
NEED another 5 lb bag os something sitting around when I have 50 other
bags of coffee needing to be roasted, tasted etc etc.
I have roasted it anywhere from a bit into first crack to a bit into
second crack, and while I have not really experimented with mixing the
two.. or three as you might do. I do have to say that I really enjoyed
that coffee no matter which level of roast it was at.
