Topic: Tradition Offering - Zass OR Trosser Grinder - (Bump) (7 msgs / 127 lines)
1) From: David Yeager
A reminder to all. The drawing for the Zass or Trosser is this coming Friday.
All this talk about the quality of Zasses and Trossers has me so
confused, I decided I'd better give one of mine away. Then I will
know, by which one is selected, which one I should have kept. :^)
Here is the offer:
Winner chooses ONE (1) of the following:
         Zass Mill (square), or
         Zass Knee Mill (rectangular), or
         Armin Trosser Mill (square), or
         Armin Trosser Mill (also square).
I will send pictures of these to those who email me at:
Please use the zass address to get by the spam filters.
These grinders were purchased on eBay about 12-18 months ago.
Their condition is at least as good as when I got them.
I will have a grandson, chosen at random, to choose a winner at
random at 6pm on May 5th, 2006 (Cinco de Maio).

I'd love to have my name tossed in the hat for this tradition.

Not my tradition, Mandy, but please feel free to jump in on the conversing.
I think the request was to make contact off list for the tradition drawing.

Even Lowly Lurkers need a good grinder.
You are in, Mandy.
I will send you the pictures off-list.
You are right, it was a request to respond off-list,
but the way I worded it led some folks to believe that the other
address "zass" was only to get the pictures.
I'm monitoring both places and have about 40 names so far.
If it gets to 50, I may have to give two of them away!!
