I have a blend of Café de Eleta, left over horse, some Zambia, Brazil
(143- 144)? etc.
Did I mention its really GOOD at city / city +. 17 minutes in the turbo wok.
Jeff B is going to bring over some of his espresso blend & his hottop,
Paul G is bring his alp. Anybody got a Gene Cafe they want to show off??
I have the WB roaster that made it to market for about 3 weeks. Not used
it yet. We can give that a shot also.
Ben
P.S. Almost forgot, Jeff B says he's bringing tiramisu.

In addition to the Alp, I can bring some CRLM. I
can also bring my old Starbucks grinder (the one that I think is a Solis).
And I'm bringing some fresh ground Turkish and a
couple ibriks from Arab Town on Dequindre. This
stuff is really good if you like Turkish with fresh cardamon in it.

Darn!!! I have been looking forward to this event, but I was just informed
that due to our children having multiple families to deal with, we will be
celebrating Mother's Day on Saturday this year. They are all coming over
for the afternoon, so I won't be able to go to the coffee fest. Hope that
you all have a good time.

yeah, it does start at 10. If you show up before that, however, you
could be put to wotk cleaning, so.... :-D

Paul,

Where do you buy your cardomon? Is it crushed or whole? I have looked in =
grocery stores along with specialty markets and have not been able to find.=
Our local Indian grocer closed its doors last month.

I bought an ibrik but have not yet used them; was waiting to have all the i=
ngrediants for Turkish coffee.

Thanks - Barb

I buy it in the Turkish coffee I buy at Arab Town. They drop in
whole pods when the grind the coffee for you. But they also have it
as whole pods or crushed powder if you want just cardamom. There are
also some Indian spice shops around here too.
Are you local to me?
