Good morning Mr. Doss,
Thanks very much for the congratulations - and your patronage through
Sweet Maria's. It is folks like Tom and Maria that have made this coffee
known to the public and, I would add, taken a big gamble in doing so. When
Tom first bought at $21, to me it was incredible that he was reselling with
such a minimal markup, although I guess that is a big advantage of selling
internet - a whole lot of costs are eliminated. I will be very curious to
see how he prices this coffee and also, how it sells.
In about two years we hope to have more come into production so that the
volume can go up and the price down a little.
Again, thanks for your note,
regards,
Price

Please accept my congratulations on your record breaking auction price! I
buy my coffee from Sweet Maria's to roast at home and am very excited to get
a chance to taste your wonderful coffee. Please share my congratulations and
thanks to all the hard working people that help grow one of the finest
coffees in the world.
Sincerely,

At some point between French and fire, it really doesn't matter much what
the "origin character" of the coffee was ...

Thanks for sending the thanks Vince. I will buy a pound just for the
experience. My Dad and Brother will pay $165.00 each to hit a ball
around a few acres of grass. I am a Coffee Snob, and am willing to
pay for a unique coffee experience that will last for close to a
week, not just an afternoon of ruining a perfectly good walk.

Hey Vince,

Thanks for sharing that exchange with us and for your thoughtfulness. It's
refreshing to read his true caring for coffee rather than the greenback; he's
actually hoping for the price to come down in the future!

(PS. If he happens to send you a sample please send 9 oz my way :-)
