WOW!! What a powerhouse of a coffee, roasted it just into FC, drank it with
about 6 hours rest first time, very berry like aromas and flavor, served it
to some friends who like coffee, but don't drink good coffee, they were
blown away by it, 2 days later revisited the coffee, ground it up and again
WOW what an aroma, to me this is coffee bliss, that's the smell that pulls
you by the nape of your neck out of bed mouth watering coffee cup in hand.
Then the first sip, pure coffee nirvana, this is one of my top 5 all time
best coffee's i have ever roasted and had the pleasure to drink.
thanks Tom for the awesome coffee, it's times like this i know that God not
only loves his children, but wants us to enjoy his creation.

Woody,
Funny you should write this. I was just sitting here thinking of writing the
same thing. Since I am new, I have not necessarily found the aromatic
treasures Tom and others have alluded to yet but, I took a small batch of
this and roasted it on 6/2 and had not had a chance to try it. I just brewed
a pot and ...well you said it best...WOW! what a nice flavor. I went to FC+.
Today I got the fruit, what I considered a creamy, buttery taste, and now
after the cup has cooled a bit, I just took a long whiff and I definately
smelled pipe tobacco...I always thought that would be kinda yucky because I
had not smelled tobacco per se before but...well anyway, this coffee is
definately a re-order

At some point between French and fire, it really doesn't matter much what
the "origin character" of the coffee was ...

Guys,
Thanks for sharing. I don't have any Yirg in the stash. I just got 8
more pounds, so I must resist! However I have really enjoyed reading
about your experience. I need to work through some of my Yemens,
Harar Horse, and Kenya stash before getting anymore Africans.
