First: A few months ago I killed my old dial up account which killed my
quixnet email accounts. After switching my List email to mcKona I
received and continue to receive from the List but many many attempts at
sending never went through. I just did a test send and it seemed to make it
so will try again.
Freezing greens wise since PNWG seems to have folded for this year obviously
won't be roasting the frozen vs simply vac stored greens test for PNWG. But
they've been frozen almost 6 months so 'bout time to roast 'em! Thinking
since Barry is going to be in the Portland OR/Vancouver WA area later this
month maybe invite you and any other locals (or non-locals for that matter)
that would like to come on over Saturday June 24th for some coffee play
comparing the Moki's Kona frozen greens vs non-frozen are welcome.
Let me know if there's any interest. If there is I'd of course include some
thrown together Q dinner of some type;-)

Welcome back! Been trying to contact you on-list and off and was
about to try giving you a phone call to make sure you were okay.
Currently have the 24th open, so Pat and I would participate in
anything that we can put together for that day. As usual let me know
what I can do to help.

miKe,
Nice seeing you back on the list. I'll give you a call, re: the 24th.
I had been planning on coming to the City while Barry is in town,
your get together sounds like a nice time. Looks like your the only
one capable of getting Dave back on to the list also. Loretta and I
will certainly be prepared to do whatever is possible to support this.
Mike (just plain)

13) From: Barry Luterman
I'm in too and could be convinced to bring over Bretus if you guys can help
me pack it up again.

14) From: Dave Nielsen
Mike (just plain),
Been in lurk mode for a long time due to work constraints, been doing
a bunch of road trips. I have to poke my head up every once in a while
and this seemed like a good time. It will be good to see everyone if
we can manage a meeting on the 24th!
After selling my SM5K last year I had been intending on buying a new
Silvia but have been short a few dollars. I had talked to miKe about
his machine when he was selling her, but was still holding hope to
afford a new machine from Tom and passed on that deal. Barry's
announcement of his Silvia needing a new home offered an opportunity I
couldn't pass up, so I am accepting delivery when he visits the
Portland area in a couple of weeks.
With the arrival of Silvia I will finally be able to put to use the
Thor Tamper my wife bought me from Les at the first PNWG! I've been
using a Krups Gusto for the last 3 years and the tamper is too big for
that small machine. The Gusto is a good machine for the money so I'll
probably keep it for travel use.
Oh well, back to work!
Best to all,
--Dave

15) From: Michael Dhabolt
Dave,
Good hearing from you (as well as miKe). Getting Barrys Silvia is a
good catch. I finally surrendered to the temptation and bought my
piece of Les's art work six or eight months ago. Maybe we all should
polish up our tampers and have a 'Thor show and tell' at miKes.
Barry,
Sure, I'll help put the Brewtus (dubbed 'Brute' yet?) into cold layup
and pack it up for the trip.
miKe,
I sort of feel guilty, knowing how much effort you put into these get
togethers. Not enough to keep me from showing up ;~) Be sure to let
me know anything I can bring to lighten the load a bit.
Looking forward to seeing you guys.
Mike (just plain)
