The reality is that at this time in the morning (check the time 
stamp), I am not that good to determine the difference in grind 
time.  When I am (weekends), then I do grind fresh.  I agree - life 
is to short to drink bad coffee - that is why I roast my 
own.  Apparently, YMMV applies here.

Even that is too much - boiling, grinding etc.  Besides, I really 
don't care for swissgold or pour over in general.  I am talking about 
just my morning drip - ready and waiting.  I don't try espresso for a 
couple of hours.
The main thing, is "I" enjoy it this way and at the end of the day 
THAT is what counts.
